Theres a list back in Kents rep or in Boerickes mat med, relationships of remedyes..gives the most..except a brain..cause if saying acids etc, you need to know what food itemes too avoid, what does contain this or that..
Arsenicum, lachseis has tobacco as a antitode, and by saying tobacco, it means all kinds of tobacco, not smoke only..as some think..

I was wondering how much effect the following would have on a person taking a remedy:

Smelling or wearing strong perfumes or colognes.

Smelling eucalyptus

Smelling menthol

having a sip of an alcoholic beverage

other chemicals or strong smells besides camphor.

The reason I ask is this: When I first started to seek treatment from a homeopath, I was given a list of substances and things to avoid which included many of the above items.
Now, my remedy and my son's (dulc and staph respectively) says to avoid camphor. But would like to know if anything else will interfere. And if so, to what degree ?
I have been reading Barb's thread about antidoting remedies. It seems logical to me, but I had a few more questions. Your opinions on these specifics would be appreciated.

thanks

Can anybody recomend a good book where you can find reliable lists of remedies and their antidotes? Or do we have to pick it out of severall sources and twenty years of practical experience?

Thanks Iris

LISA, Why, thank you so kindly for the GULP

GM,Would you care to know how many times my son wound up repeating a remedy because he likely "antidoted" it by smelling eucalyptus? Or menthol? No, you probably don't but I told you anyway!!

Hi Zmyst,
You're most welcome (he he)....

As for repeating the dose with your son....

It is better to run his progress or lack of - to GM BEFORE you or he decide to repeat it!

Might just end up messing up his case that way...so perhaps just keep that in mind - k?
