My sister has 4 weeks to go before the full term of her pregnancy and was told last week that the baby is in the breech position. The GP has sent her for a scan to check this and has told her that at this stage in the pregnancy it will not be possible to turn the baby.

My question is this - Can homeopathy help her and the baby in any way, either to help the baby turn naturally before birth or with the actual birth, given that it is likely to be a difficult birth for both of them?

Pulsatilla is the remedy to turn a baby.
Wait to see if GM gives further instructions.

The baby will turn if giving pulsatilla c200, or above that, if it dont turn on 200, use one m, it will also give a fast and easy birth, when shes ready for that.and it will also secure the baby against certain troubles. Use it now.

They've got me doing that excersise too, I"m trying to turn mine from a postierior position. I'm not too worried about birthing a "sunnyside up" baby because my son came out that way, even at 9lb10oz but I sure would like to avoid back labor this time if I can. Except for my back my last labor didnt really hurt that much. Would Pust help turn a postierior too? Or would there be a differant one for that?

Thank you all for your advice and good wishes.

I have requested Pulsatilla 200, which should arrive today.

Dear GM

After I give my sister the remedy, what kind of time scale are we looking at regarding a reaction - will it be within hours or days?
What has been your experience as a practitioner?

Thank you

Cool

forluvsxy - I think your remedy is Kali-carb. Try a 200c, one dose, have 1M as a standby in case it's needed.

Lell, I know of an exercise your sister might like to try if it is not too uncomfortable for her. I have seen very good results with this and have close family members who have had success with it. Have your sister get down on the floor like she is crawling, but then have her put her elbows and fore-arms flat on the floor. She should rest her weight on her fore-arms, forehead or cheek on the floor and have her rear-end up in the air. (I know, it sounds weird, but actually comfortable when you get into the position) She should try to stay in this position for a minute, rest on her haunches and do it again. This exercise can be done several times a day. I have actually seen the baby turn (only at rest, after a few days of this) . Maybe you could combine this with GM's advice. Hope this helps a bit and good luck to your sister.

Herb - the exercises should not be necessary with Pulsatilla 200 as that is the standard homeopathic treatment for breech.
