Hi I wonder if anyone can help me find a remedy for my mother. She has a strange burning disease of the mouth and it is driving her mad!!!

She has had the symptoms for the last 6 months non stop. They consist of a burning sensation in the mouth and tip of tongue that feels like she has burnt it with hot tea. The mouth and lips are often bright red. She has tiny ulcers appear very quickly and then disappear again. her teeth feel too sharp or as if there is too many for her mouth. Better for cold drinks - sipped
Worse acidic, spicey, tannin, red wine
Worse at night, Worse from about 3pm onwards
better for chewing gum and early morning.
she has alot of tension in her jaw and is generally tense and anxious. About 7 months ago she started a new job that was quite stressful which she feel could have something to do with this problem. She feels generally hot but is completely unable to sweat. She has experienced dry eyes and insomnia for the last few months as well. She would describe herself as a driven and tense person who often clenches her jaw. She has had several diagnosis, but none of them have been able to help. The consultant believes the problem is of a neurological nature. Another one suggests it is a rheumatic problem. She has had BURNING pains before in many of her joints, these are all better at the moment. I have tried Ars200, Merc30, Nit-ac30 and Rhus-tox30.All to no avail. She is also having acupunture with little success. The medical profession have offered her a particular anti-depressant as their only form of treatment. This particular drug depresses the nervous system so as a result removes the symptoms. This hasn't worked either. The poor woman is being driven out of her mind with these continually burning symptoms.

Top remedy which appeared was Sulphur. This was for the rubrics, sweat absent, eyes dry,vescicles tongue burning,burning tongue tip and burning mouth. ( Most of the rubrics were from Phatak) Look also at Aconite and a specific which was not in the rep, Arum T.

acids give sepia..not sulp or aconit. only else rem is antimon cr.

This is a typical symptom of Aluminium

Suspect your mother i8s eating foods cooked in Aluminium

Carolorr, again, you are a person with Alzheimer's in the family, so you too are close to the aluminum issue so you will therefore defend it, and rightly so

I'm neither going to debate nor argue this issue, especially in someone else's thread. Simply stating my opinion, that not all is due to aluminum. Agreed, Pat has vital info for those in need, it's simply not the cause of all ills, that's all.

Pat, with all due respect, I'm finding it hard to swallow that everyone who comes here has a problem with aluminum as you often state. You rarely tout the benefits of homeopathy here, on a homeopathy board, but instead often sound the aluminum alarm, generally in every post you make regarding every problem people have. I know you're terribly passionate about this problem, and rightly so for you and your history, but possibly you see this in so many things because of your passion, just as people with histories of other illnesses see THAT in everyone with a symptom.

I had a friend who was diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome who warned people they may have that...constantly...if they were tired for more than a day. It got to be so redundant that we just ignored her...or scattered like mice when she started talking about this. All people cannot have CFS just as all can't have aluminum problems. Many, many things have similar symptoms.

And what if this person just happens to be using aluminum pans and because of Pat she now can have a choice?

If only one person in 2000 who is susceptible gets this message from Pat and stops using alum and stops a possible Alzheimers.....

I do promote Homeopathy BUT too many folk including homeopaths forget the danger of Alumimium

I am ONLY ALIVE thanks to the skill of a Homeopath but it took 3 of them ( others were just playing at being Homeopaths) before I found one who knew what she was doing and restored me to health

My own daughter has wasted the last year being messed around by another highly qualified !!!!!!!homeopath and she has nothing to show but a hole in her pocket

Of course many allergies etc give strange symptoms ........my suggestion was merely food for thought
