Yes, something is happening, but what?
He is "rather normal" for one or two days, and than "hyperactive" for 4-5 days...For two weeks ago he sold my car, without asking me...so I think my patience is about to end

Just passing thru browsing and picked up this thread, which has me sitting here with my jaw hitting the keyboard (no mean feat!) since I'm aware of no less than 6 people in the last two months reporting similar symptoms. I have more than passing acquaintance with one of them (tho we're talking problems of 3 years standing here) who has been thru countless remedies. The last one seems to have brought about a major shift (though not without occasional relapse). You don't give sufficient details on which to base a thorough case analysis, but if you're familiar with materia medica and have access to same, you could do worse than look up Anacardium.

here's 3 cents worth. Is there a diagnosis of BI-polar in this gent? The up/down cycles make it sound like a possibility.
There are cases of bi-polar that don't manifest themselves as severely as the "traditional" cases showing more like : irritable..happy....irritable....happy...Rather than full-blown manic and depressed states.

Are there rubrics that address THAT? (if manic/depressive problems are a possibility)
