Are there other remedies that would be considered gateway remedies? And what about phase 4. Surely more remedies than the 8 or so listed would fall into this category? I guess what I'm really asking is how does one determine the continuum from constitutional remedies to the deeply disturbed? I'm new to this so go easy on me ![]() L |

Yeah. I know. Have you ever been so confused by something that you can't ease pose a reasonable question? Or maybe that's just part of my case... being incoherent
! Okay. What do I mean. When Herscu is talking about these different Phases, in Phase 1 he has remedies that we commonly consider constitutional remedies; in Phase 2, he has nosodes, Phase 3 he calls transition remedies. He suggest these remedies are a sort of doorway to the unconscious brain and remedies that are ruled by the unconscious (Phase 4). It's clear what a nosode is. What's unclear. (A lot... but I'll try to stay with my present point of confusion). 1. Is he suggesting that Baryta and Stram are the only transition remedies? 2. How does one determine what remedies would fall into phase 4? 3. Can't a remedy like say Anac be both a constitutional and a phase 4 remedy? -------------------------------------------------- 4. What source can give me info on which remedies have deeper (more disturbed) pathologies? I realize most of these is learning the remedies. But, as they are laid out in most reference material - they list healthy signs and symptoms along with chronic symptoms and with those at the far end of the spectrum (from health to dis-ease). Okay - I'm losing the thread of sense again ![]() There are stages we go through. For many starting with health, then acute, a chronic, a miasm, then what... There are some remedies that would never represent a state of health. If I understood more, I could ask a better question... L. |

Hello again
Baryta Carb,Stramonium and Anacardium are all chronic deep acting miasmatic remedies. (and Constitutional remedies) They can also be used in acutes- ![]() All depends on the analysis and symptomology of each patient. Focusing on: "Chronic" complex symptoms are most often best treated via constitutional anti miasmatic remedies. Removal and addressing each layer.(please find Dr. Banerjea's documents on miasmatic prescribing for more information) Nosodes are used to move a case that is stuck, remove an obstacle of sorts, but need a final dose of the patients constitutional remedy.(sometimes to access pathology) Each remedy has a miasmatic imprint some all 3 but of course a dominance of one;syc/psoric/syphl/tub miasmic predisposition.
