Hello;
Every year for the past 4 or 5 years I get poison ivy in the spring/early summer. small bumps, redness, itching. On my ears, neck, chest, stomach, sides, fore arms and private area. Originally went to the doctor and he prescirbed prednisone. This worked pretty well to get rid of the symtoms in about a week. Decided to use my laymans study of homeopathy to help this. This year when the syptoms started I started with rhus tox 6x several times a day. This provided some relief but was not complete in getting rid of the symptoms. I incresed to 30x rhus tox. This relieved even more of the syptoms but was not complete. After a few more days I increased to Rhus tox 30c and then rhus tox 100c. Works well...but if I stop taking for a couple of days the syptoms start returning.

I just started taking anacardium oriental 100c. Seems to be working about as well as the rhus tox 100c but if I stop taking in the itching returns slowly.

Any suggestions?
