Use:
podophyllum peltatum,
colchocum autumnale and
cholesterinum.
The above is only a short term way to bring the cholestrol levels down quit quickly.
It will bring cholesterol and triglyceride levels back to normal.

Then one must use constitutional remedy after taking case history and have patient change diet and get exercise. Avoid coffee as it will push the cholesteral up in many persons. If the lifestyle is not changed the cholestrol will go back up.

Yes, cholesterinum is an excellent gall bladder and liver remedy. Increased blood lipids, high cholesterol, are a malfunctioning liver problem often caused by too much animal fat consumption.

Gallstones are usually formed from cholesterol in the gallbladder because of a malfunctioning gallbladder. The gallbladder doesn't empty regularly and a build up in the gallbladder causes the stone to be formed.

Cholesterine is the physiological opponent of lecithin. Using allopathy (the opposites,) nutritional supplements of lecithin will decrease blood cholesterol slowly. The homeopathic remedy choleserinum will aid the liver to naturally restore the proper balance of cholesterol. Protecting one from circulation problems, heart problems and even liver cancer.

Alain Horvilleur,M.D., President of the International Homeopathic Medical Organization and teacher of Homeopathy recommends cholesterinum for excess cholesterol as well as triglycerides in the blood. The family Guide to Homeopathy ~ page 60

Materia Medica Homeopathia Antihomotoxica - A selective Pharmacology - Hans Heinrich Reckeweg also recommends Cholesterinum for Cholesterolaemia. Page 40

Thumbs up Re :

Hi Friend ,
Flax seed is an excellent source of soluble fiber, the fiber that helps reduce cholesterol. The AHA recommends 25-30 grams of fiber daily. 2/3 cup of flax seed contains around 28 grams of fiber. It also has lots of other really good components such as vitamins, minerals and unsaturated fatty acids.

There are lots of other good high soluble fiber sources, beans being a good example. Achieve Ultra Health

Susitna,
If you want to treat yourself with homeopatic remedies its better to consult a good Homeopath nearest to your place who can take history of your suffering and advise you with a proper remedy as high colesterol is one of the symptoms and in homeopathy a remedy prescribed after taking all symptoms. You can get benefit by taking Allium Sativum, I mean garlic here is the extracts from Ayurveda:

ALLIUM SATIVUM
English: Garlic, poorman’s treacle

Garlic is well known to all as it’s vide use as a spice or condiment in Indian and continental cuisine. It is of two verities; in one type the bulb consists of many cloves while the other has only one clove.

Garlic is considered as something of a miracle food and uses it as a home remedy for many complaints. The healing properties of garlic as an antiviral and anti bacterial agent are now backed with scientific evidence. Scientists have shown that the compounds in garlic are good for heart. They lower blood pressure, reduce cholesterol production in the lever, suppress harmful cholesterol and raise level of the beneficial high-density lipoproteins in the blood. Garlic is considered one of the most important herbal/Ayurvedic supports for blood pressure and cholesterol reduction. The daily dose recommended is about 6g, equivalent to two or three cloves.

Garlic is also extensively used for curing asthma, arthritis, sciatica, lumbago, backache, bronchitis, chronic fever, tuberculosis, rhinitis, malaria, obstinate skin disease including leprosy, leucoderma, discolouration of the skin and itches, indigestion, colic pain, enlargement of spleen, piles, fistula, fracture of bone, gout, urinary diseases, diabetes, kidney stone, anemia, jaundice, epilepsy, cataract and night blindness etc.

Thanks

Carrying some extra pounds — even just a few — contributes to high cholesterol. So losing as little as 5 to 10 pounds (2.3 to 4.6 kilograms) can help reduce cholesterol levels. Start by taking an honest look at your eating habits and daily routine. Consider your challenges to weight loss — and ways to overcome them.
