I posted my own story here and now I am posting about my daughter. My 14 year old has had a very bad time with her periods since she had her first one. She faints, turns grey, has pain that causes her to cry and scream, vomits and diarreah at the same time, and gets very MEAN!! She yells at me when she has these episodes as she goes in and out of a stuper. Which is not her nature. One of my nurses was at our house when she had one of these episodes and was so shocked that she was freaking out and wanting to call an ambulance. I gave her colocynthis and that episode resolved but we decided to get her an appointment with the same homeopath that helped me for her own constitutional treatment. She has now had her second cycle on the remedy (which was Veratrum LM1) and she is so happy. She told me the morning her last period came that she wasn't feeling well and I braced myself for what might come next but when I asked her to compare how she felt to the way she felt before and she replied "Oh, compared to that I feel great!". She was active all that day and gave no more compalints. I am so happy that she has had as much success as I have with homeopathy because the only other solution at that point was birth control pills as we had tried herbs and accupuncture and all kinds of other things. I sometimeswonder if the reason she had these problems was that I took birth control pills when i was nursing her and she got very sick. I was young and stupid then! But you can't change the past.
