OK then. There is no real argument from me as far as it goes. There is a real need for rational medical approaches out amongst the people of the world. Yes there are all sorts of illness that have been foisted upon us in the name of progress. An example of this is the forceps delivery of an infant girl I recently saw in clinic. I also practice Craniosacral therapy and if this isn't homeopathy as a bodywork therapy then I am blind. Maybe I should qualify that.

Craniosacral work involves palpation of the intrinsic life rhythm that begins at conception and ends with our physical death. It is the fluid dynamics within the gamete that mediates an individuals development from 2 cells to 4 cells to 8 etc through to full tissue differentiation into flesh and blood - the whole show. A practitioner trains to palpate this rhythm (of course they are now born!) which is, by now, the relative filling and emptying of cerebro spinal fluid within the dura - the connective tissue sleeve than surrounds the brain and spinal cord. Cerebro spinal fluid nourishes and protects the grey matter. It's tide like in the ebb and flow of its motion, a time piece marking the cadence of our lives. Dysfunction shows itself through abberation in the quality and symetry of this rhythm throughout the body. To detect a fault is to enter into correction. This is carried out by encouraging the dyfunctional tissue further into its dysfunction till a change is detected. Time is then taken for the CNS to integrate these changes. Cure or at the very least more functionality then ensues.

The infant girl was suffering from a severe torticollis, indigestion and reflux and poor sleep. To further add injury to insult she would only feed from one breast being very unsettled and 'coming up for air' between quick gulps. Her pediatrician prescribed analgesia and time for the problem to resolve.

Her mother was exhausted, her father extremely agitated and a bad time was had by all. Not the way to enjoy the birth of your fist child!

Treatment took 30 minutes of which 15 minutes were spent talking with mum and child (yep! thats right they pick up every nuance) and 15 mins hands on with mums assistance. She wriggled kicked squirmed and yelled for 5 mins and then magic! A huge fart signaled the end of treatment. She was placed in her baby carrier and was asleep by the time they left my office. One more treatment a week later to help with lingering feeding from one side issues and all was well - good sleep patterns established feeding like a true suckling and everyone settled into a new life.

I have to say that it isn't alway that easy and as a homeopath I have stressed myself out to the max trying to find the simillimum or at least something similar for the malady presenting as an individual.

Healing arts are a rewarding field of study and application with so much to learn about the world and its inhabitants. I reckon its the best thing for me to do and all I have to do is apply myself to the work at hand with the right principles in place.

Earlier Albert aka Hahnemannian 444 stated

"PS. I looked at what they call the "Spagyric Pharmacy" and found them invoking and quoting Paracelsus. Okie, dokie, boys and girls, listen up. The legitimate spagyric physicians called Paracelsus "a braggart and quack" (Basil Valentine). Paracelsus was an allopathic physician in its Empiricist spectrum, which is today referred to as the so-called "alternative therapies." He was a proto-Initiate to the Rosicrucian Brotherhood who amalgamated the disparate secret societies of his day, but he was not a spagyric physician. Alchemists came in three stripes."

OK this is a point of view - in the interests of balance I suggest interested readers look at the link below to see another point of view - one closer to my influences. Of course this is just another point of view, it's the ability to hear another's story that encourages all toward a greater truthfulness in existence and its apprehension. I mean no slur toward anybody enjoy the tour if you've a mind to . . . .

Here is the site that caused all the fuss. I invite all to come and have a look - add what you think is pertinent, no one will be reviled for being constructive and hey, maybe we can all share in the abundance of knowledge and experiences that are to be had!

Aude Sapere!
