Advice on Tub remedy please

Hello, can anyone offer any advice on the remedy Tub.
My son was prescribed this recently and, it seems to me, that he has been
under the weather since taking it. i.e. a cold and chesty cough since
taking the remedy, tiredness etc.
Can anyone let me know if this could be the case, and if so how I can
balance this for him.
