Default Newbie with a question about swinging ring test

Hello. Not sure if this is the correct place to ask?

I have a question.... My FIL has Celiac Disease. He was travelling and found out about a technique using his ring and a piece of string. He can hold the food item and the swinging ring over the food and it tells him if he can eat it or not. He swears by this and has been using it for 5 years with 100% results. He always has a piece of thread in his top pocket if they are travelling and can use it at buffets etc. He gets very strange looks, however, if this is what will save him from eating something bad, then so be it.

Does anyone know this technique and what the name of it is? I have tried to research everywhere as to what this is called and why it works. All 20 family members have tried this test, and I am the only one that gets results also from using my ring. Maybe the ring knows something of my health that I am not aware of? It swings clockwise for positive, counter-clockwise for negative, and stands still for neutral.

Any comments?

Thanks
Heather

Default swinging test

This is called dowsing or devining.
I have heard my mother say she could tell the sex of an unborn by which way the mothers wedding ring swung over the womb, as I was about 5 yrs old at the time the implications passed me by.
I have used wire, (welding rod) bent at a 90 degree angle to find metal waterpipes in the ground, and steel buried in concrete so I didn't drill in the wrong place.
Also I determined the energy lines from a 12 foot square pyramid with the same method.
Some people have also determined homeopathic remedies to give doing this, although, I never found out if it was correct and worked.
Hope this is of interest to you.
Regards

Thank you for this reply. I wanted to do more research on this and wonder why it works with some and not others.

Personally, I think there are energies we are aware of, but don't know what they are.
Some people are not at all aware, and have to wait for them to come.
I think it is the evolution of the spirit inside us that gives some of us greater insight and powers for the betterment of eveyone, and this is part of it.
We have developed telephones instead of telepathy, helicopters instead of levitation, chemical medicines instead of energy medicine. But this is changing because our specie is very curious and nothing is ignored for too long.
Happy curiosity.

Hello
Yes it's called a pendulum, used for various methods of having difficult questions answered, have used it for many many years. On this forum you will get many that dislike this subject so i'm sure something negative will come of it,not all are open to 'energy' work.To some it comes easy (it's verry easy for me and i dont know why) i have done the same as "Parachute' and used a pendulum
to tell the sex of babies in a pregnant mother, have used it on rare occasion to find remedies (after two verry similar ones have come up via lenthy casetaking)
The rods are also verry easy to use, they seperate as you get closer to an energy mass.
A verry easy book to start with is; Dowsing book and kit bywalter woods
Go to www.amazon.com
and type in the title

Smile Ring, pendulim, crystal, button

Yes, I am 88yrs. young and have been using a crystal on a wire, or cord. I hold it over the item I want to eat, touch or wear. If it goes in a circle it's o.k. for me, if just goes back/forth its not good for me. Im an allergy person with foods, chemical, Rx, etc. In this fashion, water has been located underground, etc.
Yes, when in a market people look at me or some ask what Im doing, and then I explain same. Its there problem if they dont believe it, not mine. I know it works for me all these years. Good luck to you.

GoldenMom,

You and your friend may want to also look into Applied Kinesiology. There are ways to "muscle test" to see if a food is good for you or not similar to the ring/string method. I find muscle testing to be more accurate, and also more private. You can muscle test using your fingers is such a way that no one will realize what you are doing.

Blessings

Dear Judy
Yes i do this already, not mentioning it here in homeopathic forum because many are not open to it,but since you mentioned it.

Knowing about kinesiology is wonderfull and can add to the healing of a patient.
