I have been told by a Reiki Master that Reiki 'healing banks' can be set up for people in need (via Reiki Guides in the spiritual realm) and that Reiki therapy does not need to be hands-on, it can be done long distance.
Is this correct?
For myself, I have been having Reiki therapy once a week a part of a cancer recovery regime and I LOVE it

You are correct. Reiki doesn't need to be hands on and can be sent as "distance healing" either to people or to incidents.

I belong to a group of Reiki masters who regularly send Reiki to people or to situations for healing. We do this as part of our "tithing" and it is done unconditionally.

aaah! The wonders of Reiki! It's not neccessary to know it's coming, it works its magic anyway as long as you are willing to receive it

I always Reiki the SacLac that I give clients to take home between consultations too.

What is a SacLac?? Not heard of that one before.
