Default Cranio sacral therapy

Has anyone had any experience of Cranio sacral therapy and what was the result? The reason I enquire is because I have been suffering from an unexplained neuralgic headpain for several years and have had limited results with homeopathy. My HP has recommended I try Cranio sacral therapy. I would therefore very much welcome your input before I take the plunge.

I have had it done to me and I also recommend it to people. It works with the spinal fluid flow to correct inbalances and blocks. It's a wonderful therapy, so please take the plunge!

I would recommend it to you too. I have had lots of treatments myself and have a great practitioner. I thought that it was such a powerful therapy, that I then went to some introductory weekends at some of the colleges in the UK. I have started training myself at one of the colleges in London and have just signed up for my first Upledger Cranial course with the Upledger Institute in the UK, to be held in London in February. I am very much looking forward to this. I hope to visit the Upledger Institute in the States at sometime and do at least one course with Dr John himself.

All in all, a great therapy and I hope that you benefit from it.

Good luck.

I would also recommend that you give it a go.

I had back and arm pain for years, caused by lifting my elderly 25 kg dog. I saw a chiropractor for an examination - he found about 11 or so places in my spine that were 'out'. I was unfortunately unable to afford treatment. Had to limit myself to Reiki which I do and explained why I was still walking etc - the Chiropractor was mystified that I wasn't a lot worse, until I told him about the Reiki.

I had the good fortune to go along to a free talk and demo of Cranio Sacral Therapy. As there were only two of us there, we both got a demo. When she had her hand under the base of my spine there was a sensation of 'release' - very noticeably, twice. I didn't notice any other change at the time, but when I woke in the morning, there was NO pain anywhere!!

There is no manipulation involved, the practitioner simply supports your body as it realigns itself into the correct positions. So it is a very relaxing and pleasant experience.
