One guy has been working on this theory for several years and noone paid any attention to him...that the plaques in the brains of alz's patients are created by a problem with the levels of copper and zinc.

At the moment there seem to be a lot of new bits of work on Alzheimer's. It will be interesting to see where this goes.

Holy Schmoly! This is great. But it always frustrates me to hear how unobjective real scientists are. This should have been funded years ago.

Perhaps you would like to tell us which bit of research into Alzheimer's that was done should not have been done?
Anyway what happened to all illness being caused by disturbances in the vital force?

'Anyway what happened. . .'

So where then do you draw the line between cause and symptom?

This is a non-sequitor. I said that the research should have been funded when he first made the connection. Scientists have this strange notion that if an idea doesn't fit their preconcieved ideas, then there's no point in evaluating it - a very unscientific attitude.

Not all illnesses are due to mistunments in the vital force. There are also maintaining causes, which if didn't exist would not result in illness. While there may be hereditary propensities to react to heavy metals, if one knows about it, then avoiding the heavy metals would be a big step toward avaiding the disease.
