Francine, Benjy Mouse = characters from the sci-fi cult comedy Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy. Very British humour. David Tate did the voices of some character(s) on the BBC radio productions? David doesn't like the way we practise the art and science of homoeopathy.

I read those books in high school. Many, many moons ago.

Had no idea a radio show had been built up around them...and vaguely remember a TV series--with the requisite tasteless costuming and garish aesthetic of Sci Fi--you know, men dressed head to toe in turtlenecks and pants long enough to attach to boots, women clearly favouring tiny bras and thong-like skirts...

well, too bad Francine isn't one of the cute boys pictured above.

Sure hope he gets more radio work. What a shame such talent is wasted here, where he's forced to be the Courtney Love of HHBB.
