My request is more than one moderator should be appoint for discussion forum. I have seen many forums where five to ten members are moderating one forum.

Agreed - this is very much part of our thinking - that it would be of benefit to all to have a small group of moderators for the Discussion Forum rather then the burden being on one person alone.

Well-- that's one side of the deal--remains the question:
What's in it for anyone moderating.
Let's face it-- being a professional homeopath also means to make a living, and that translates in the western world into Euro/ working-hour.

That's an interesting perspective.

If one spends time browsing the BB anyway -- it's no skin off anyone's back to help out as a moderator.

Hans,

(This has been discussed earlier by someone, I want to bring it again for viewers. This tells the true picture of our honourable members behaviour)

When you started discussion in forum, your name was not familiar among your community. Even your close neighbours were not having info of your name. You got registeration at HHBB. hhbb GIven a name to your personality. you started writing two to three mails daily, you had lot of time at that time.

A stage comes, when you become slightly popular, you decided to cash that popularity. You designed a web site and given link at HHBB. When ever you wrote a letter, you took advantage from this bb without paying it. Few members and you yourself refered few patients (which appeared on this board) at your website. Many members provided link to members of your site without paying a panny to this bb.

Conclusion: This bb given name and famousity to you. Now Time comes, when jonh start a new discussion forum, he requests to members to contribute for this bb. Now it is your (members including liza) turn to support this bb. Very astonish to read remarks from you had no time for this bb and you start demanding moluments.

it was the option given to everyone from jonh, that he will create a new discussion forum for anyone interested in running his her school discussion board. A discussion board was started for Devon school on their demand free of cost. Jonh has confirmed one time in previous discussion forum. Moderator applied for the post and it was appointed. Devon school were not paying anything to bb and now a moderator demmands Emoluments ... This is the cradit moderators want to give to this bb.

Where did I ask for 'emoluments' to help moderate?
Please direct your criticisms to the correct person.

Read my post again.
I will put it in other words:
It takes very little extra effort to help out, imo. The way I look at it is that it's a fair exchange; we get to use the BB -- and we can give something back by lending a hand. Is that clear enough now?
