I have Osteoporosis and am treating it by taking Fosomax 70 mg/week and working out at a fitness center doing weight resistance to strengthen my bones.

My L4 vertibrae has only 76% of the bone density that is normal for my age.

I have taken Colostrum for 90 days and feel more eneregized and wonder if it will help.

Anyone have direct experience -- good or bad?

Dana Ullman said every case is not homeopathic case. But homeopathic medicines have good impact on Osteoporosis cases. In a case Heckla lava and calc flour given good response. The best thing is to do to consult your experience local homeopath for treating diseases.

osteoporosis is the result of antibiotics . They kill the bodys ability to absorb calcium . When the thyroid detects a shortage of calcium in the blood it send out messages to the stomach to take on more calcium from the food passing through the stomach . When this is not possible then it send out messages to draw from the bodys store in the skeleton -- result osteoporosis , caused by antibiotics . DO NOT USE ANTIBIOTICS !.

Dr Mati is correct , but if poss use the correct constitutional high in conjunction with the hekla or calc-fluor low 3x-6x potency.

just to add to my previous posting - I should have pointed out that the villi on the surface of the gastro intestinal tract GIT , are harmed by antibiotics which impair the ability to take up calcium . The parathyroids send out messages to the effect that -if you take calcium from the skeleton , do not take too much .

Wish you could get off the fosamax. In the long run, it only weakens bones, while temporarily "increasing" "bone density readings" while you take it. And its got all kinds of side effects which become misdiagnosed as "irritable bowel syndrome"...necessitating even more silly drugs.

Why not find a good homeopath, get a good remedy, and stop relying on those drugs once and for all?
