My baby (female) name ‘Maryum’ is one year and five months old. Her weight is only 7.2 kgs. She ill once in each 50 to 60 days. Fever and some time motions during her illness. Very cute and active baby but I am depressed with her weight. At birth her weight was 3.2kg and till 6 month she was gaining weight. At 6 month of her age, we started solid food (cereals) and only packed water. She suffers with motions and fever at that time. Doctor given her allopathic anti-biotic, and after recovering from this illness, till now she only gain one kg weight. Currently her height is 29 inches. She born and reside in Karachi, Pakistan (South Asia).

In behavior, she is normal but feels unhappy with strangers till one/two hour. Taking food is normal. She does not like packed milk (dry milk) and only want to take mother's feed. Her mother is pregnant so no sufficient milk with her. Baby is not daring. Her hairs are black and dry. She likes play and laughing. Normally she sleeps much in day with compare to nights. She has 6 teeth at front side and two teeth (one upper and one down) are coming inner-end of mouth. She likes music.

The main reason of her low weight, I think usage of antibiotic. Plus she try to put each and everything in her mouth like shoes, papers, hands with dust etc. In cold environment she feels flu and some water starts from her nose. In this situation, her eye also runny.

We feel that whenever she is in better health (no illness condition) and get good intake, her body give good response and weight starts going up but again she get ill and all the weight come back to down. Normally total 2-3 motion (normal stool not the MOTION) per day.

We both (mother and father) are just ok in health. Her mother is however good and her weight is at standard stage but my (father) weight is also at low side (60% of standard weight).

During vaccination, she every time cry due to riddle pain. No much fever after vaccination. After each vaccination, we give her panadol syrup for two days.

She just started walking on her foots. Her birth was normal. Total two rounds of antibiotic was done during last one year (First at her six month and second last month). When she ill or upset, she not change so much. She try to engage in play, see and collect her dolls, smile with us.

Normally she likes to play and share them with other child. She also like to play with other’s toy and insist to get other’s toy and also try to give her food to other children. She is sensitive child and does not like to loudness over her. She start crying. She take food normally not so problematic but it a little bit depend on her mood. If she fast in sleep, she sleep at back side (face at up) and at right side. Sometime she sleep with face down with bend legs. During sleep, she does not like to be covered from the birth but from last two weeks, I noticed she does not care if we cover her.

The last illness was Diarrhea three week before. In this, she feels fever, runny nose, flu, motion, and cloud in lungs so the doctor prescribed antibiotic. Now she is ok. We stop medicine. Doctor asked us to come back after one week and want to start iron therapy and willing to start some anti-allergy course so the child will be safe against repeated illness. One of our family member (she is homeopathic doctor), tell us to start Bio-Plasgen 21 and give two tablet, three times a day to the child. She told that only this one medicine (Bio-Plasgen 21) will be enough and child be safe against the repeated illness and will start gaining weight.

I am looking for your advice so my child will be safe against this repeated fever and runny nose. Be strong and start gain weight.

Its a shame that MD's are still giving antibiotics left and right for colds/flue/cough..................Antibiotics do nothing for these symptoms. Will only weaken the baby.

Best advice is to stick with homeopathy to strenthen the immune system.Bio plasma (cell salts) Is Ok but this baby need its constitutional remedy. A trained homeopath can prescribe for all the "acute illnesses" you mentiond in your post,no need for antibiotics.
