I have a 12 month old son that was born with both testicles undescended. The pediatric urologist that we are seeing has been ready to do surgery for a couple of months now. I am looking for alternative treatments for him.

Hello all !, It is indeed best if a full case history is taken. The only clinical advise I can give you in the meantime and which often works very well, is :
Aurum muriaticum natronatum 1x, give one drop twice a day(morning and evening) in approx. 1 ounce of distilled water or boiled, cooled down water. If the 1x potency is not avalaible try 2x or 3x, but preferably the 1x. ! This remedy is in particularly indicated for boys with girlish appearance, disposition and physical constitution.(This remedy is also called : Auriet sodichloridii and is made of Double Chloride of Gold and Sodium) Wim (William)

I have located a naturopath in my area that I am going to see tomorrow afternoon. I will be talking to him about the aura met.
My son does not have any girlish features or behaviors. By all comparisons he seems to be a typical 12 month old boy. Do you administer the aura met twice daily until the testicles are descended or do you do it on and off? Are there side effects that I should look for as to when to know I should discontinue use? I am new to the study of homeopathics and have not used it except for hyland's teeting tablets on both of my children. I would not hesitate to experiment on myself but I don't know about experimenting on a toddler that can not communicate with me except for crying. What things concerning his history should I be noting? Thanks for everyone's responses. |

Aurum metallicum is indicated for Testes swollen with severe pain (esp. at night ) or for testes on the point of atrophy, for Orchitis chronic or tubercular, neuralgia, hydrocele, neuralgic pain in the cord. Arum met. is also for chronic enlargement of the testes. Wim.
