My daughter is 20 months old.
I have been noticing her hands especially the fingers and the toes moves involuntarily just like startling and becos of that her hands and legs move(startle or jerk) when she is asleep. This happens during daytime naps and night.
She is a very active girl during the other times.
Can anybody suggest any remedy and the reason for this kind of twitching or startling movement?

Hi Pushpa, there are some remedies that could help this phenomenon if it is also associated with other related problems. The (constituional) remedy is based on a complete history of her homeopathic characteristics and will help her overall health as well. SO its best to see a homeopath and have one prescribed.
Warm regards,
Doctorleela

I can't suggest a reason for these sporadic movements during sleep, apart from normal sleep/dream activity. It doesn't appear "pathological" in the way you've described it. Unless you can support these observations with any more clinical data, I would suggest you don't attempt to treat a condition that is not pathological and let dreamers dream their dreams in peace.

IMO this kind of prescribing online- from limited patient information- is dangerous. This is not an acute disease.

1. The problem does not appear to be detrimental to the child.
2. Constitutional prescribing should be done on the totality of symptoms and be individualised.
