My two yr old daughter has a small bald patch on the back of her head, she hasn't pulled it out, nor has it rubbed away. She is in good health, (tho' very tiny), blonde, blue sclera. Used to suffer eczema, which has now been clear for about a yr. Any ideas?
Meg

Dear MEg,

Your daughter could certainly benefit from a good homeopathic remedy and the bald patch will completely disappear. BUt a remedy is generally chosen on a complete homeoapthic history.
I'm not sure what treatment you took for the eczema, but if it was not homoepathic as in a "similimum" deep acting remedy, she could continue to have problems later from a suppression of this skin problem.

I would advise you to get good homeopathic help soon.
All the best,
doctorleela

Thank-you Dr.Leela. Yes, it was a homeopathic rx that she was given for the eczema, but as she was given a few different rx over a few months, I'm not sure which rx cured the eczema, and have no way of finding out. The bald patch is alopecia. She weighs 10kg, even 'tho she is nearly 3yrs. I have no way of visiting a homoeopath at the moment, as we are sailing for a few months, so I am hoping for some help using this BB, (using my laptop)!
If you need me to give you some more details, that's fine.
Thanks Meg

I am sure DRleela can help figure out what remedy to give if you cna provide enough information.

Dr Herscu, who I trained under said the majority of Children that young, with any growth related issues, will beneift from Cal-c. Given what little you have posted this is probably a strong consideration.

I will also try and look at what you post.

Thank-you so much for your help.
I had a normal pregnancy & birth with Kitty, 6lb 4oz. Immediately seemed to suffer with 'colic', green frothy poo's, a hoeopathic rx eventually helped. (All my records are on land, sorry!) Followed by atrocious eczema for a few months, think it was Sulph that helped with that. Had a spell of being petrified of water in any form, even the sound of running water, grew out of that. Very tiny, 'tho not out of proportion, 10kg. Never been immunised, still breast fed, (exclusively so untill 11months). Urine smells strong, (amonia), quite yellow, changeable bowel motion, often loose & foul smelling. Suffered many painless ear infections, Puls helped that. Doesn't like cereal or meat. Becoming quite agro, esp on waking, & when tired. Tongue can often be white coated. Alopecia for the past few weeks, on back of head, just below crown, getting bigger.
Do you need to know more?
Look forward to hearing from you.
Regards, Meg

Based on the problems since birth it sounds like the baby just needs a little help with growth.
I would go with a dose of cal-c. 30c and see if things start to change in 7-10 days but may take a while for the hair to come back.

If cal-c does not resolve this, than many questions would need to be asked, but in children a high precentage need cal-c and almsot everything you noted is well covered by it.

May wait and see what Dr. Leela notes, but I am leaving town Tuesday for 2.5 weeks.

Keep us posted and happy sailing!

Looked at Calc.C, but she has always been very forward, reaching her milestones on average, walked at 10months. She still doesn't sleep through the night, but there doesn't seem to be a pattern to her waking.
Do you need more info?

You'll need to tell us more about her emotional nature, perspiration distribution, thermal state etc. Wht is PECULIAR to her. Giving common sympotms of children is not going to help.

What does a "normal pregnancy" mean? You were absolutely calm and composed throughout your pregnancy? NEver has any emotional problems? NEver had any porblems to deal with?

I don't think every child is Calc carb, though commonly indicated.
