Unhappy

Hi Folks,

I am new here so please be patient. I am desperate for help. I have lost my beautiful loving son. He has turned into a child I don't even know anymore.

Over the past few months he has turned into a defiant, aggressive, beligerent child. He has always been stubborn and irritable but now he is at times uncontrollable.

I have read many other posts so I will try to get all the information in here but will repost as needed.

Pregnancy- Unexpected, I was very ill throughout, polyhydramnios at the end, not very active in utero, I am milk intolerant, Csection delivery

Infancy-poor sleeper, hard to console, colic, lots of spitting up and many formulas tried, prefered rocking and bouncing, bad "baby rash" on face for about one month
frequent ear infections
Toddler- Slow to talk and walk, but very social, too affectionate toward strangers, assymetry of left face, sleep apnea, more ear infections and bronchitis, happy, self limited diet, refused milk after bottle removed, never really played or entertained himself, happy
Preschool- Eye surgery and T/A, tooth decay(good hygeine), bowel trouble constipation, diarrhea, hospitalized once for this, keen sence of smell noted, afraid of sirens fireworks, became stubborn and high maint., needed tags out of clothes, hard to buy shoes, refused zippers, hard to transition from winter to summer clothing, biting nails, less happy
School aged- starting to defy athority, poor fine motor skills, no friends his age, still no playing indep., short attention span except with reading and TV, poor eye contact, touching anus and penis frequently, afraid of stairs and escalators, even less happy
NOW- 2 recent moves(sold our house/new house not ready lived with in laws for 2 months then into our house), aggressive, swears, can't take no for an answer, hits, bites, kicks, throws things, doing poorly in school, poor math skills, great reader, poor writer, almost phobic of needles, seems VERY sad.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. I miss him so much it hurts.

Thank you,
Jaymi

How old is he and can you describe his appearance please.
Homeopathy may well be able to help. I have a couple of remedies in mind but don't like to prescribe without seeing the patient. The best thing you can do is to find a local professional classical homeopath who will take a full case history and prescribe for him as an individual.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply.

Cody is 8 years old. He is shorter than most for his age and kind of chunky in his face and belly. He is fair skinned, blue eyed and has sandy blonde hair. He has eye circles. He has big feet and hands with very flat nails. His second toe is smaller than his third. Feet are very flat.

Another thing Cody is very fond of stickers and bandaids. He will "play" with one for a long time. He rolls the sticky side on his fingers back and forth.

I am seeing a ND but can't get an appointment for 3 more weeks. Just looking for some advice.

Thanks again for your time,

Jaymi

Are there white spots on his nails? Does he have heavy hair growing down his backbone?

Hi,

Yes he is very hairy (legs, back, shoulders and arms). He bites his nails pretty low so I really can't say about whether he has white spots.

Thanks again,

Jaymi

It is specifically hair dowmn the backbone I am interested in. Dewspite biting his nails I am sure there is enough nail left to see if there are any white spots on them or not.

OK off hand I can't come up with a remedy because I am away from home for another week and have no books with me.But Ias I have said before it is not something I like doing without seeing the patient. Did you manage to find a local homeopath to take his case? Maybe one of the other homeopaths could rep this case case and come up with something.

Hi my name is Tania. I have started to visit this site with a little interest and have dabbled in discussion, but do not have a lot of time. I would like to stay in touch with you, as I have a much younger child exhibiting many similar symptoms see allergic two yera old with behavioural problems. many of the problems your son has now I can see in my son. Medorrhinum has an immediate effect on him, but it is not lasting. I have sent his profile to a group of homeopaths in India who have come up with another remedy called Calcarea Carb. I am going to see a local homeopath who is regarded as being one of the best in New Zealand (a very small country), so will let you know what he says. I do not understand homeopathy very well and do not understand what medorrhinum does. One thing is at this stage he is very good for caregivers, avereage for my mother, and reserves his full force for us.
