I will quote three cases to try and illustrate my methods. Perhaps I should say that I almost invariably start with the appropriate miasmatic remedy. [1] Psorinum [2] Medorrhinum [3] Tuberculinum [4] Syphilinum --- or the more recently introduced Carcinosin (which carries parts of all the other 4)
I do this as a ground clearing process. If there are complications that are not visible on first taking the case, they will rise to the surface at this point.

[1] Male in his 70’s. Had been a medical orderly in the aftermath of the concentration camps of WWII. His specialist had advised him that they had tried everything and the only option left, to stop the constant bleeding in the urine was to remove the bladder and fit a bag. Having been in the medical world he was loath to accept this ultimatum. He came to me to see if I could do anything for him.
He was very tall and this pointed to the shape changing miasm – syphilis – but there were no confirmatory signs but the mixed miasm TB [a combination of Psora and Syphilis] fitted much better. Started him on 3 ascending potencies of TB. This had an improving effect but not dramatic. His characteristic remedy was Arsenic. He was excessively neat and tidy, sipped a glass of water, and liked the bedroom window open so that his head was cool but the covers under his chin so that his body was warm. Under this remedy he improved constantly and in 3-4 months was no longer passing blood in his urine. As Kent says “ an operation is only justified if homeopathy fails. “


[2] Child of 7 yrs bad asthma. Mother was a nurse but was fearful of the effect of the high dose steroid treatment of her child. Girl was blonde well behaved and talkative. Not looking for confrontation. When an attack was coming she would always go to the kitchen and eat sugar by the spoonful. Talkativeness, sweet tooth and dry skin [not eczema] pointed to Psorinum and started her on that – again 3 doses in ascending potencies. Increased the interval between attacks. Pulsatilla was a characteristic remedy [blonde easygoing etc] and she improved further on this. But Pulsatilla is followed well by Silica and it was that which cleared up the case after about 6 months. The hospital confirmed that she no longer had asthma. NB asthma is due to a lowered strength of the immune system – whatever may provoke attacks – the problem is with the immune system. In my opinion often due to over vaccination.

[3] Interesting case that I treated gratis . 3 yr. old Autistic child. Long eyelashes; fine hair and skin, also some TB in the hereditary background. Obviously low potency was out [you cant use the miasm remedies below 30] so went very high. Tuberculinum at CM , 10Cm & CMM. Left for a month and parents were pleased with the effect. Told them to return when she started to relapse , which they did about 12 wks after the 1st dose . The special needs school had noted an improvement . Switched to Baryta Carb CM , 10CM ,DMM . She would look her parents in the eye and now responded to her brother’s overtures – which she had ignored. The specialist in whose group she was took her off pharmaceuticals, and her improvement continued. Her parents used to bring her to me for further tablets when she started to fall back. This was about every 16 wks . Treated her for 7 yrs before I left the area . Occasionally I put in a dose of Tuberculinum but mostly Baryta Carb created the improvement .
