GM according to Clarke zinc in the potency can cure the tendency to miscarriage, which in my understanding is a form of infertility - not being able to hold the foetus in the womb. so it could certainly help in the power to breed, as you say. Thus it would confirm what hahnemann said, that the crude is the rudimentary basis of MM (Organon par 110 last alinea) "It was never suspected that these histories of medicinal diseases would one day furnish the first rudiments of the true pure MM, which from the earliest times until now has consisted solely of false conjectures and fictions of the imagination - that is to say, did not exist at all."
Please do not understand me wrong, I do not quote this to criticeise you, merely that what happens in the crude, *hanemann* considers here to be confirmed in the potency. And so he continues: "The agreement of my observations on the pure effects of medicines with these older ones - although they were recorded without any reference to any therapuetic object - and the very concordance of these accounts with others of the same kind by different authors must easily convince us that the medicinal substances act in the morbid changes they produce in the hewlthy human body, *according to fixed, eternal laws of nature* and by virtue of these are enabled to produce*certain reliable disease symptoms each according to its own peculiar character.* So my understanding is that if it ia so good in the mgs, it is better in the potency. I do not ask for any agreement, but the consideration that this is, as hahnemann says, a narural *law*, like the the law of gravity - apples do not fall upwards because I may disagree with it.
