Each color of the rainbow is said to correspond with the functioning of a different chakra. The less dense the color the higher the chakra related. I've heard that this is a controversial remedy set.

Spectrum is supposed to be good for healing after longterm illness, the release of cerebro-spinal fluid, cleansing the chakras, the release of serotonin, easing of karmic load individually and in groups where there has been conflict, and lifting depression which results from an inability to see how to change course.
