Default Correct treatment for chronic tonsillitus

Hello everyone, we are new to homeopathy and have a few questions....My 2 yr old son has what the GP thinks chronic tonsillitus - he has been treated with numerous bouts of antibiotics and looks set to undergo surgery at the earliest opportunity to remove the tonsils. We have recently tried homeopathy with good success so far....he has been classified as a tuberculinum child and he has many of the characteristics - artisitic, hair down spine, likes being outside, mischievous, friendly and outgoing ....however there are a few aspects that don't fit ---- he is quite a home bird I would say very happy to stay and play hedoesn't always want to go different places, also he hates cold milk (but is hooked on warm milk which he drinks pints of !!) , he is a very loving child and is kind to everyone, he is also rather bright, also we have a cat and a dog and he loves them both.....so given all this what do you think ?????
