I totally agree with you that as long as the simillimum is correct, any potency will provoke an aggravation or produce an amelioration; however, according to one of my favorite authors, if a person with an advanced state of tuberculosis happens to fit a phosphorus sim. and is given a high dilution i.e.200c or higher it may cause an extreme haemorrage that will be life threatening,same author suggests 7 to 12c.
