Successful Homeopathic Treatment
From my observations regarding the treatment of patients homeopathically, I have come to the conclusion that there is much more involved in it than information processing. Without in any way diminishing the importance of a good knowledge of Materia Medica and the practical value of repertorisational analysis, in my opinion there is another very important component involved, and that is the practical experience of the Prescriber.
In the study and practice of any art we cannot avoid the acquisition of experiential awareness at the subconscious level. The more experience we have had, the sharper our awareness will become. In the taking of a case, the Prescriber is able to tune in to the patient in such a way as to sense the energy weather patterns so to speak which are too subtle to be described in Materia Medicas. I think that what I am talking about here bears a similarity with what is called 'intuitive prescribing', but really it is not 'intuitive prescribing'. It is rather the application of acquired knowledge that very appropriately surfaces from sub-conscious mind of the Prescriber and provides a key insight which facilitates a more accurate selection of the similimum.
