Many thanks to you Albert, for taking the time to respond at such length, and for providing the link regarding th psoric miasm (which I have yet to read).

With regard to me mentioning my emotions playing a part, I think perhaps the hernia is a reflection of how I deal with expressing myself, which I don't do very well. It may be my body finding alternative outlet...energy building up and needing release.

I cant give much more info about the exact location of the hernia, if it helps it is located approx 2 inches directly below the end of the sternum. Like before the bulge is more noticeable after eating. It is not painful and I have noticed any other symptoms that accompany it.

I don't think it is actually on the skin but beneath...soft tissue/organ protruding through the weakened area within the abdominal wall. In addition to this, there is also scar tissue remaining from the surgery.

I am pretty annoyed with myself for even going through with the surgery, which was due more to people telling me it was the right thing to do, than me doing it for me!

I am not looking for a quick fix, or one remedy to cure a hernia. I know homeopathy does not work in that way. I'm just wondering if perhaps through this forum I am able to find someone willing to help me in trying homeopathy for my presenting complaint as I am not in a position at this to afford to see a homeopath.

I would be happy to give case history details.
