Surgery and emergency medicine are the only proper provinces of allopathic medicine, so you chose well, but the need will always be in question if homeotherapeutics wasn't first sought by experts at it and especially since most of them involving diseases are tacit failures of allopathic medicinal therapies pursued for years without cures. The basic idea is to get to them before their pathology reaches such stages. Of course, surgery will also involve longevity because our bodies wear out, so we would hope you also act well as a surgeon and involve yourself in such concerns. If there are other areas of allopathic medicine that are defensible, somebody correct me.
More particularly, Guernsey was a surgeon, obstetrician and master homeopath (always posthumous). Read his wonderful papers in old homeopathic medical journals, sir, but your best current portal to the world's Hahnemannians is the ZKH, a German journal.
