The reason she was on antibiotics was always for a sore or infected throat. In April of 1997 she was diagnosed with a severe case of Mono. Seven months later she had huge and infected tonsils and the tonsils came out. She had a long recovery as the tonsils were, in her Doctor's opinion - some of the worst he had ever seen. Her throat was black with the cauterization - she could bearly swallow - even water. She lost 10 lbs. Since then - she has had recurrent bouts with sore throat and possible strep. Sometimes being diagnosed with strep and put on antibiotics - sometimes not diagnosed, but put on antibiotics anyways. She has been back to the Ear-Nose&Throat Sepcialist because of abnormal lymph growth in the tonsil area. She always feels there is something in the back of her throat (right side) and has spit out particles that look like old peas. (Seems to me there is a hole in that spot that catches food, fills up, then she spits it out)
