am reluctant to get a referral from a directory ... too many names, too much of a spread as to price, how to pick, etc. prefer beginnikng with anecdotal one-on-one referral, which is how i ultimately found my chinese doctor (i have hep-c) who, by the way,. has his own growing fields, so pesticide-free chinese herbs.

students may be viable but my experience with student acupuncturists made me averse to the idea myself
