For what it's worth, I believe Cerium is a good remedy for this condition, especially if there are problems with the spine and painful muscles. The patient's symptoms would determine if it is Cerium Metallicum or a Cerium salt. I wouldn't go over a 30c, though, to begin with, as this is a strong remedy.
