I am sure your friend is well meaning but since ONLY a student of homeopathy she/he does not understand the complex indications of using carc nosode,or this student would of given you the answers to your questions.
MOst often a nosode "Opens up a case" to be followed by a constitutional remedy.
Most often high potencies are used for nosodes above 200C-1M [
