Dear Anette,
My daughter had an outbreak once, I only used the constitutional remedy and not much of it, it cleared up in about 3 weeks.
My friend had treated a friend's child for flu, after which the impetigo broke out, and she only gave one dose of SUlphur which aggravated for several days, but then just left it alone, and it took him 2 months to clear up completely - it was quite extensive, on his buttocks and awfully looking, and while the mother who did not want to interfere quarreled with the father who urged her to go to the doctor, - it just went away, leaving everybody, especially the boy, happy.
And in your case it seems that the infection sites are changing, so the process is not stalled but moving, in which case I would say that just try to leave it alone would be the best course of action, expecially after you have given so many remedies. Impetigo is not a true acute disease, so to say, it is - as you say - a way to discharge something, so it's best not to interfere, at least, to reserve actions to the time when this stalls, if you see that there is no more change in the course of inflammation. 10 days, as experience shows, is not enough for the process, it might be rather long, but as long as it's moving it will probably clear up by itself. I know just how uncomfortable it can be, when my baby boy had a weeping eczema at the age of one, I had to deal with the acute state - he almost could not sleep and scratched it all raw and bleeding - for about 3 months, but it gradually receded - without much interference, it recurred every spring, but less and less, and now that he's almost 4 it just does not show up almost.
All you need is perseverance, so if you're really anxious to stop the vicious circle you - and your daughter - just have to "survive" this - it is possible! And maybe your daughter should stay at home while the inflammation is at its worst? If there is a possibility of an asthma attack, it surely is worth trying to let her skin discharge all it could without any hindering.
All the best,
Elena
