Hello wim

I don't know how to check for ticks. But I tried to learn so I checked his injuries again and they do look like he has been kicked. It looks like he was kicked from underneath his jaw and his large incisor teeth then caused the injury to his lower and upper lips and caused two little bump on opposite sides (both bottom and top) of each other. I could see fresh blood underneath his jaw where the bump is.

The kitten has not gone outside at all today. He normally spends 99 percent of his time outdoors. It is obvious that he is traumatized by humans. He has been handled by humans because my dog smelled it on him right away.

They could have injured him in anger after receiving my poster on their door. I was really afraid to go knocking on people's doors out of fear of retaliation. But I had to look for him because I was sensing his anxiety. The very unfortuante thing is that they live EXACTLY in front of me. I hope they won't hurt my kitten in the future. I knew I had nasty neighbors all around me but I didn't know the ones in front are just as bad. I got a phone call this morning letting me know that they were going to return him to me. I'm sure it was the relative of my neighbors who left me the message. She is a real nice woman.

I'm getting very worried about the kitten. He is not being himself.

Can you please teach us how to look for ticks?
