Mineral lick......good idea.....we use them for our horses, but not for our goats, although they are available for goats as well.

Always make sure the mineral lick contains all the necessary supplements. (Goat keepers can`t always tell though what`s exactly in the lick.)

When using tablets, however, we know exactly how much of each vitamin/mineral each individual goat gets.

Advantage of using (high quality) mineral licks is that the goats will only use them when their bodies tell them their body is lacking in something and if one has many goats the dosing is far easier of course.
