I have two or three of my goats that are loosing hair on their ears after kidding. My friend say "We think that the hair loss is usually copper deficiency, zinc deficiency, or zinc deficiency secondary to (caused by) copper deficiency--they are synergistic, and zinc is not absorbed well with too little copper."

Do you think I should treat with copper bolus (which is a custom here in New England) or do you have another suggestion.?
