Please let this case be taken by an experienced hom. vet. or vet. homeopath who knows about proper anti-miasmatic prescribing/nosodes as well.

Treatment of vaccinosis may be necessary with correct use of nosode or pathode to remove miasmatic influences.

The further one moves from the vaccination and the more suppressive (conventional) treatment that has been administered, the more miasmatic influences will come into play. The properly selected remedy used for vaccinosis should be a strong sycotic one.

The strong suspicion of a vaccine connection (as you mention in your post) in a case can be incorporated into the process of selecting the appropriate remedy by repertorising using other features of the case and then considering the need for a sycotic remedy in the assessment of the possible remedy choices produced by the repertorisation.

Vaccinosis predominantly increases the influence of the sycotic miasm in the animal`s body and the picture presented will thus have many prominent features of that miasm`s action, such as skin conditions involving excess production etc.

The diagnosis of vaccinosis will depend on a number of factors, but two major indicators are an aetiology of NWS (Never Well Since) and the history of a transient systemic reaction. In many cases it`s the inappropriate conventional treatment of such reactions that leads to the establishment of more chronic problems.

Example : Ointments or baths are commonly prescribed by vets for puppies being presented for the second vaccination, having developed a skin rash following the first injection. This is obstructing the natural process of coping with challenge, and it`s exactly the situation as described by Dr. Hahnemann in relation to his theory of chronic disease. The miasmatic patterns thus created will affect not only the immediate patient but may be passed down to future generations.

to be continued......Wim
