I don`t know if your homeopath is an experienced classical homeopath, but perhaps your case should be taken again very thoroughly.

It`s true that homeopathic treatment is often more effective in the early stages of the condition, but I also think that homeopathy should yet be given a trial in your advanced situation.

If the outcome of the repertorisation shows a few (2-3) possible remedies it`s important to very carefully compare the modalities of these remedies.

Thyroid disorders are on a strong increase, partly due to radioactive pollutants, specifically iodine-129 and iodine-131, which are now a permanent part of the environment and the food chain. All thyroid disorders are part of an autoimmune response with the body developing antibodies to its own thyroid tissue. So everything that has a negative impact on the immune system can contribute to the development of thyroid disease. It also has a familial or genetic component and eventually there can be enough damage to create a hypothyroidism and thyroid hormone replacement can become essential.
