Continuation for Marin :

In all (emergency) paralysis cases in shelter animals without knowing enough symptoms/modalities I usually start at the first signs of paralysis with Arnica and also Hypericum if the animal is in pain or distress.

If I hear from the shelter that the paralysis persists I often continue with Conium.

If the animal is old(er) and has urinary and/or faecal incontinence and (partial) paralysis or hind leg weakness Causticum is often indicated.

The dosage regime/potencies/repetition/duration of administration may be different for each remedy.

Briefly you could say that the most important remedies for paraplegia in animals are :

Conium, Plumbum metallicum, Lathyrus sativa, Bothrops lanceolatus, Hypericum perforatum, Causticum and Curare. Also see the list of remedies mentioned above !
