I have had it drilled into me to beware of using Calendula on open wounds just in case there is infection deep inside the body as Calendula does close a wound quickly, in hours in some cases. I perhaps have not had your experience to use it so freely. One would assume though that a surgeon would not leave infection behind. Perhaps it is the way it is used or the potency? would you know? and thank you for responding.

Regarding the Arnica comment further down - I am sorry, I assume that people know not to use certain remedies incorrectly. I should not assume.
