Indeed it is. ANY homoeopathic treatment must be that most similar to the whole case. otherwise it simply isnt homoeopathic.


However, during a TRUE acute, the person's entire history does not need to be taken. But the disturbance must be traced through the mental, emotional and general physical level for the correct remedy to be chosen and for the acute to be affected by it. It must still cover the whole person, but not the person's whole life. A TRUE acute is an external event, and once the external event is over, the person's natural state will reassert itself.

A true acute situation is usually self-limiting though, and in most cases rarely needs treatment. In those who are weak, vulnerable, or during a particularly violent acute, a remedy might be needed.

However, many people are unable to tell the difference between a true acute and an acute flare up of the chronic disease state. Treatment of nothing but the 'obvious' symptoms will likely palliate the condition, or suppress at worst, or do nothing. A chronic state is not self-limiting, and will reoccur over a person's lifetime. A chronic disease is an internal event and needs deep miasmatic treatment to be resolved
