Palsy-like shaking could be due to past exposure of Feline Panleukopenia as a kitten. Generally as they grow they will learn to compensate for the wobbles, but sometimes you will see it reappear at times of stress. Just a guess, I would suspect if it was new and due to illness, the cat would be quite sick and sounds like she is doing better.
