I would suggest getting your hands on a book by Don Hamilton, DVM, called "Homeopathic Care for Cats and Dogs". 'Small doses for small animials'.
The author goes into great detail about skin disorders and why many animals have them. With this book you would educate yourself on why your dog may be having this problem and about homeopathy in general. The book can be bought online through his website at www.itsfortheanimals.com Keep in mind that skin disorders are very difficult to treat even for professional homeopaths. I would also suggest you consult a homeopathic vet by phone or email since there are non in your area. A search online might be the best bet. Many homeopathic vets treat 'long distance'.
Good Luck,
