Dear Shannon,
It is interesting to note that you saw my reference to Nat Phos which I had typed in my first post which I corrected to read as Nat Mur within about 5 minutes after I discovered the error. This occurred as I had pressed the Submit Reply button instead of the Preview Post button. You will see that the correct version appears in my post above.
I am so very involved with Nat Phos today for weight reduction that I seem to be getting mixed up when I meant Nat Mur (common salt).
I worked out the etiology for the cramps and thought that I should test Nat Mur 6x on this patient as she was on a low salt diet and it worked wonderfully. This is the reason which prompted me to make my post as I wished to share another of my 'discoveries' with others on this forum.
I do wish that others too will follow my example by posting the response of their patients for any remedies which they used with success, especially if they are not listed in the classical texts. This will enable those who read about it to also use the remedy for a similar ailment which can help the patient perhaps better than in the case of using the standard remedies.
I have another case of a patient with Type I Diabetes whose blood sugar levels plumetted with just 2 doses of Arnica 6c that I gave him for a wound on his toe which was not healing for some months. Unfortunately he stopped taking the remedy immediately he had this interesting response as he was not comfortable with any Homeopathic remedy. It is of course possible that he used a higher dose of Insulin when he injected himself but if this drop was due to the Arnica, it would have been historic. I do wish that he had continued as it is not impossible that this may be another Rx for type I Diabetes which could have been another first for Arnica.
