Before anyone on this site starts suggesting remedies for you, my view is that if you are genuinely suffering from troublesome or debilitating back pain (and not just the odd twinge or ache) of no obvious cause since the age of 19, then you should probably be investigated further to establish some kind of diagnosis or at least rule out certain diseases. X-Rays are not sufficient, and blood tests and an MRI or CT scan would be normal investigations here for persistent back pain in a young person. Your calf muscle pain could be from your new exercises and surgery is always a last resort.
