Hello to all
Saw this thread and wish to share (the result first, eventually the details after) the outcome of the most recent case of arterial hypertension having had substantial amelioration under my surveillance.
Arterial hypertension is a very "sensitive" subject for me, as my very conversion to homeopathy has occurred by curing my own mother (aged 64 at the time, 76 now) of an arterial hypertension staged as severe, with values as high as 180/130 mm Hg constantly occurring without treatment. To fail the placebo theory (and where in God's name would placebo occurr more likely than with my own mom) she didn't answer (on obvious reason of unappropriate choice of remedies) to the first 3 given. After Aurum and a couple of follow-up remedies my mother has NEVER since taken a hypotensor. Side note : no symptoms of cardiac failure occurred which could eventually sustain the counter-argument that, failing the myocardial capacity, the heart dysfunction could explain a drop in the tensional values, as it sometimes happens with ageing hypertensive patients.
The last case was not that simple. Mrs. V.T., aged 44 at the first presentation 3 years ago, needed this interval to obtain a good outcome and a successive administration of 3 polychrests (of which apparently Staphysagria did the final and solid good). Since the last intake of remedy 3 months ago, she never needed anymore hypotensor therapy, dropping values from a current 160/100 to as low as 110/70 for the interval mentioned, in spite of her never having kept anymore low-sodium regime. Under the treatment, other ailments have also improved (cutaneous allergic reaction at dairy products). It is to be taken into consideration tough that after my experience one should not rush to declare a case cured of a chronic and deemed incurable (by classic medicine) disease until at least a couple of years has not passed free of symptoms or at least with substantial amelioration. It is also to be noted that usually longstanding chronic diseases need a longstanding therapeutic approach (that doesn't mean complexism) and careful watch of the symptoms developing under treatment. Usually minor symptoms will call for follow-up of the treatment and if neglected, the case might be lost for better evolution because such a disease is deep rooted in the system. So I will not call this a deffinite cure, but in any event it is a promising development.
Regards,
Alex.
