My daughter had a very long ugly scar down the length one her thighs following a severe fracture of the femur (car accident) and a titanium rod had to be inserted during an operation which took 5hrs rather than the predicted 2hrs due to complications inserting the rod which made the scarring and the subsequent post-op wound even worse (the rod was removed a year later at my insistence as I believe the body will not tolerate foreign objects and will fight to remove them often giving rise to medical problems at the initial site and/or in other parts of the body). I gave her Thiosin and covered the scar with Vit E oil (broken open from a capsule). The funny thing was, in hindsight of course, that the thiosin and the Vit E worked so well that when it came to having the stitches out, beautiful pink skin had practically healed over them and the doctor had a heck of a time trying to remove them!
Lesson: I gave it to her too soon...
Repeated Thiosin and Vit E a while later and now she has only a faint 6 inch long scar that is barely noticeable.
