Default Dr Bach

Dr Edward Bach. [1880-1936]
Was a well known figure who developed the Bach Flower Remedies on the premise set up by Dr Richard Cooper when he instigated the ‘Arborivital ‘ method of preparation. This involved taking a plant that was still rooted in the ground , dipping the flower in a phial of alcohol and leaving it for an hour IN THE SUNSHINE.
It was this method that Edward Bach adopted when he retired to Wales in the early part of the 20th cent and developed his Flower Remedies. It was understandable that he wished to be in countryside and among flowers
He had spent the years from 1912 up to the early 20’s investigating the properties of the micro organisms in human gut – notably the B Coli . Along with Dr’s Wheeler and Paterson he developed The BACH BOWEL NOSODES. . These have been used for heart conditions & Chorea [Dysentery Co.] , Malignancies & Ketosis [Gaertner Co.] Raynaud’s & Meniere’s diseases & Pre Tubercular conditions [Sycotic Co.] .
All in all a fairly powerful set of remedies; which have been extensively written up in both the American and British Journals of Homeopathy, and widely used in the period 60’s to 80’s .
Looking round the net one comes across frequent references to the Flower Remedies , but in my limited experience – no references to the Bowel Nosodes . Have these dropped out of use and perception , Or am I being too parochial ?. Dr’s Sankaran & Agrawal have written on the indications for use of the Bowel Nosodes [ both of which I have in my personal library].
